P2P Exchange System 2021/2022
The P2P Committee has decided the exchange system will commence for the 2021/2022 season. Only those hunts who have confirmed that they intend to operate in the 2021/2022 season. Several hunts have decided to wait until 2022/2023 season to start.
The tenure roll over agreement with the Yorkshire Area has been renewed so the contract is guaranteed until the end of the 2028/2029 season although there is no reason to believe the agreement will not be triggered annually. There are no agreements with the other areas but there is no reason to believe there will be no problems here. However please note that the exchange system in all these areas is not contract based but is based on the principle of caveat emptor.
For the purpose of the exchange scheme the P2P Areas will be divided into two groups:
Group A will consist of the North, West Mercian and Brocklesby and will commence in the near future.
Group B will consist of the Yorkshire Area and will start on the completion of Group A.
As with previous schemes all sales will be categorised as primary or secondary sales, the former being to leave the list completely and the latter to buy a better position. The revenue generated from the sales will be as follows:
Primary sales: Vendor 75%, Hunt 25%+ £10 Admin fee.
Secondary: Vendor 90% Hunt 10%+ £10 Admin fee.
All positions beyond the maximum number will be purchased by the BRBA with no reductions if the sales are primary. The BRBA will not purchase any position within the maximum numbers.
The sales tariffs are as follows:
West Mercia / Yorkshire
The first sales will initially be with Group A lists and will be followed later by Group B lists. Only those meetings that have indicated their intention to run in the 2021/2022 season are listed.
3) Preliminary results will be posted on the BRBA forum on Nov 13th should be lodged. Any queries concerning these results should be lodged by Nov 18th.
4) Invoices will be sent by Nov 26th when the results will become final. Payments to be settled by Dec 3rd.
